Design Museum Portland is pleased to present an Internet of Things conversation event. Every season Design Museum Portland brings together experts from diverse fields along with communities inside and outside the design world to discuss complex themes in venues around Portland. The ThingWeek panel will tackle how the Internet of Things is disrupting business models, the consumer experience, and how design is driving the disruption. Each UNITE offers the opportunity to gain insight into how design guides professionals of various backgrounds to create successful collaborations and to solve real world problems.
Students from TiE's TYE group and TAO's Innovation Academy will join with our UNITE panel of experts for an afternoon of learning and dialogue considering the transformational role the Internet of Things will have on the future. This UNITE Youth roundtable event strives to engage the budding technologist to the student just finding their interest in tech to question and consider their relationship with this growing aspect of the tech spectrum.
